Google has released it's new social networking website, which it hopes, will rival the success of facebook.
Google+ allows individuals to share messages, comments and photos but will continue to integrate the company's maps and images to it's new service.
Google has previously dipped it's toe into social networking projects with the launch of Wave and Buzz, both of which proved unpopular with users.
