During this week’s WWDC 2011 keynote, Apple’s iOS 5 was unveiled along with the release of a beta version and SDK for developers. And after scrutinizing the new iOS SDK, developers have discovered that the media framework strings have added a new 1080p video export preset. This means that iOS 5 devices will support the recording, playback, and export of 1080p video.
In a file called AVAssetExportPresetNames.strings, there are multiple lines that show a 1920×1080 movie
