Microsoft suggests 20% in UK have had IT phishing call

A staggering 20 per cent of people in the UK have received a call from a fake IT security company attempting to scam them out of money or personal information, if the latest survey published by Microsoft is to be believed. According to a Dynamic Markets poll, commissioned by Microsoft, of 7,000 people across UK, US, Canada and Eire, 15 per cent had received a phishing call, and that figure is 20 per cent when you just look at the UK data.
