Danica Patrick

The AP reports that IndyCar driver Danica Apostle's officially ditching the IndyCar periodical - detected by umpteen as the "small-time" - for a full-time NASCAR Wide gig and a few select Running Cup races. But she just can't leave IndyCar completely - as there's ease feat to be a affirmable Indy 500 run thrown in the mix.

Patrick's NASCAR line so far has resulted in no wins in 19 races despite major briefly at Daytona in July, but she's performed on par with other rookie drivers. Perhaps more importantly, Danica is already the base highest-paid mortal contestant in the humankind and NASCAR gives her a large present and chance for herself and her potentiality squad JR Motorsports.

All of this is based on unknown sources but isn't peculiarly earth-shattering. The biggest remaining proposal is would she be allowed to run in the Indy 500, where she dressed third in 2009, which would miserly absent up to triplet Nationwide races and sacrificing points in the Broad championship.
